St Anne's Pastoral Parish Council received funds from Foundation Derbyshire and the High Peak Wellbeing Partnership Small Grants Scheme to start a monthly  'Sunday Club' where those in Buxton and beyond who are 65 and over and on their own on a Sunday afternoon can come together for tea/coffee, biscuits and enjoy some fun activities such as New Age Kurling and board games as well as having occasional presentations by speakers.

Its first meeting was on 12 May 2019 when 16 people came together to enjoy a Tai Chi Talk & Demonstration and an opportunity to chat over refreshments as well as the Club's regular activities.
