Why not create a ‘sacred space’ in your home to provide a focal point for your prayer, especially during Holy Week? It can be as simple or as elaborate as you like! Perhaps start on Palm Sunday by getting a branch to represent the branches that the people of Jerusalem waved and spread on the ground during Jesus’ triumphant entry into the city.
You can hold this branch on Sunday during the live stream of the Palm Sunday Liturgy at 10:00 am whilst Fr Gerry is blessing the branches.

Link to the statement from Cardinal Nichols.   Please, don’t lose heart. Please, get deeper rooted. When a plant is deprived of some surface water, it has to put down deeper roots. We are going to have to put down deeper roots of the Spirit and we know that God will nurture us.’   (Cardinal Vincent Nichols)
