MAKE HOLY WEEK SPECIAL
Come and join us on Monday at 10.00 a.m. in the morning or 7pm in the evening for one of our Services of Reconciliation.  They will be based on C.J.M. music version of “Born for this”, the Stations of the Cross with Sieger Koders’ artwork.  Fr Kevin from Chapel and Fr Hugh from Hassop will be joining us.  Maundy Thursday Mass of the Last Supper,  Good Friday Solemn Liturgy and the Easter Vigil on Saturday at 7.30 p.m. (No 6pm Mass) speak for themselves! Would 12 people please sign up to have their feet washed on Thursday night? Would everyone bring a Spring Plant for the Easter Garden?

URGENT CHURCH REPAIRS
Our Church has now had scaffold erected on all sides and the stone masons have moved in.  You will see at the entrance how they are beginning to re-point the stone by grinding out the mortar first.  We aren’t having a total re-point – that would be unnecessary and cost millions – but more of a patchwork one.  The Glaziers will come and take the Rose Window away for a month.  The total estimated cost is £106,405.

SPRING TEA – A big thank you to all who came to the tea last Sunday and also to Esther King and her team of helpers who prepared and served it.

SUNDAY CLUB
Our Community Centre’s ‘Sunday Club’ for those 65 and over who are on their own on a Sunday Afternoon is in Waitrose’s Green Token Scheme for April.  Please support it if you’re a Waitrose shopper.  The next meeting will be May 12th 2-4pm with a Tai Chi talk/demonstration, refreshments and Indoor Kurling.  £3 donation.  For more information speak to Caroline Higgins or email sundayclubgo@gmail.com.  See the notice at the back of the church.

EASYFUNDRAISING
Our 18 supporters have now raised £155 at no cost to themselves.  How?  Mainly by shopping online at some of the 3,600 retailers who will donate to STAND if you go to their websites via Easyfundraising.  Join at www.easyfundraising.org.uk/support-a-good-cause/step-1/?char=187409 and raise more funds.

REPOSITORY
We have a lovely selection of cards for Easter, First Communion, Confirmation, Birthday, and Mass Bouquet Cards.  There is also a small selection of gifts suitable for occasions such as Easter.  Do have a look!  If there is something special that you would like to order, please speak to Jill or email stannesbuxton@gmail.com and we will try our best to get it for you!
