To All Users of St. Anne's Community Centre

We have always run the Centre so that it can be highly accessible to all Community groups.

On occasions, people have forgotten to turn off lights, taps have been left running, cooker left on and doors unsecured. It would be very helpful if the person in charge could run through the check list below before leaving the premises:

1) Lights off (including the toilet entrance way light and the accessible toilet. These lights are not on a sensor)

2) Taps off

3) Cooker off

4) All windows closed

5) If you have used the kitchen, please leave clean and tidy with everything returned to correct place

6) Turn off the wall mounted water boiler for making teas after use

7) Hardwick room door secured

8) Main door locked if you are the last to leave

Your help in keeping the building secure for everyone would be much appreciated.  St Anne's Pastoral Parish Council.

Sr. Teresa's coffee morning

A sincere thank you to all who contributed in any way to this event. We raised the wonderful sum of £555.40, which should earn us a bench or two in the Garden! It was hailed as an excellent result at the College and both the Vice Chancellor in Derby and Director of Schools in Buxton wish to express their thanks to all concerned. May I thank very specially Fr Dennis and all those who helped in the running of the event – a real community effort. Sr Teresa.

Sr. Teresa's coffee morning

Many thanks to all who attended the Quiz Night. It was a great success and raised over £200 for the Lourdes Helpers.

Celebration of thanksgiving to The Presentation Sisters 2005

"Where have all the Sisters gone, long time caring" That is the question asked many times, by people young and old. Some have gone to Heaven, others to all parts of our world. They came to Buxton to lay the foundations of our Schools. Now we have two beautiful schools, monuments to them and their foundress Nano Nagle. Today, we honour them with our Thanksgiving. May we continue to help them with their caring and teaching in less fortunate parts of God's world.
