VERY EARLY AND STILL DARK ...’ John 20
"When Mary of Magdala came to the tomb and found the stone had been moved away… " It could be the beginning of an Agatha Christie mystery story! The mystery continues when Mary says, “they have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don't know where they have put him” (V2)
During the next six weeks of the Easter season, we will all be searching once again to discover
‘where they have put Jesus’ the crucified. We pray together we might find him still ahead of us in new depths of hope, love, faith, and compassion, overcoming the fear, despair, hopelessness, and pessimism of life.
HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE! CHRIST IS RISEN! HALLELUJAH!

DAY OF PRAYER FOR SURVIVORS AND VICTIMS OF ABUSE ON THURSDAY 23RD APRIL, AT ST. ANNE'S – starting at 12:00, it will be introduced by Fr. Dominic Allain, who is the Pastoral Director of “From Grief To Grace” Healing Ministry.
Stations Of The Cross will be at 3:00pm with Prayer and Testimony at 5:00pm. An evening service will be held at 7:00pm, led by Bishop Patrick. I will speak about it at mass on the 14th April when we will ask parishioners to help with the day. https://www.grieftograceuk.org/

PRAY FOR PEACE IN ISRAEL AND GAZA -
Christ, Prince of Peace, hear our prayer and lament, for our suffering sisters and brothers. Our hearts are heavy as we witness lives torn apart, as we see the faces of frightened children and hear the pleas of those without water or food. God of new beginnings, in your ways are compassion and hope. Open our hearts to dialogue and understanding. Lead us all to answer your call to become peacemakers today, and all the days of our life. Amen. Please send this prayer with CAFOD to the people of Israel and Gaza: https://action.cafod.org.uk

If you would like to include anything in the newsletter, please ensure that we receive it by Wednesday of the week before to allow sufficient time for printing.
